Fractionalisation means many things to many people. Our analysis of 165 fractionalisation schemes and stakeholder interviews focuses on the surge of digitally enabled fractional debt, equity and use since the mid-2010s. We look at how fractionalisation schemes differ from one another, the challenges and opportunities they face, and what approaches look promising into the future.
