Backing Female Founders.
As an early-stage focused VC, Pi Labs operates as the forefront of innovation and next-generation technologies that are set to redefine the built world. Achieving that future however requires the ingenuity of founders from all backgrounds, and we believe women are essential to unlocking the next wave of this innovation. That’s why we are proud to support the Investing in Women Code.
our commitments.
As a signatory, we report data transparently and adopt practices that reduce bias in funding decisions, in the pursuit of creating a more equitable investment landscape.
Beyond the code, supporting female founders has long been part of our DNA. Through initiatives like our Pi-Lattes community events for female VCs, and a series of dedicated female-founder gatherings hosted over the years, we actively work to increase visibility and networks for women across the ecosystem.
As we launch Fund IV, we are doubling down on our commitment. If you’re a female founder building at the intersection of AI and the built world, we would love to hear from you.
Pi Labs Becomes a Signatory of the Investing in Women Code
What is the code and why is it important?
The Investing in Women Code is a UK government–backed initiative designed to increase access to finance for female entrepreneurs.
Despite the growing number of female entrepreneurs entering the market, women continue to face disproportionate challenges when raising early-stage capital. Research from July 2025 showed that just 2p of every £1 invested in VC funding in the UK goes to female-founded businesses, with the gap widening at the seed and pre-seed stages.
Real innovation in the built environment demands recognition of diverse entrepreneurial talent. We are committed to ensuring women founders have equal access to capital, because diversity is essential to driving meaningful change.

testimonials
“Pi Labs led our pre-Seed round in 2019. Over the past 7 years they have supported us with capital, client introductions, and access to events. But the thing I have valued most is having Stefania on our board. Her calm and considered guidance has been a huge asset over this time.”
Brittany Harris, Co-founder and CEO at QFlow
“We joined Pi Labs in 2024 through their Growth Programme, and Pi Labs is one of our favourite investors. Michelle is always available, whether it be tactical advice or high-level strategy. Access to the full power of the Pi Labs investor network makes them second to none in the built environment."
