INTERVIEW

Approximately 25% of companies that apply go on to be interviewed. We’ll offer you more details about the interview process if your application is successful.

INVESTIGATION

If you pass the interview round, our investment team will conduct extensive Due Diligence on your company. They’ll analyse the problem you’re trying to solve, the technology you’re harnessing, your team’s profile, your target market size and your suitability to the Pi Labs portfolio.

COMMITTEE

Once we’ve successfully completed our Due Diligence, your startup will be presented to the Pi Labs Investment Committee for manager approval along with a selection of other companies. The Investment Committee will make the final decision on the upcoming cohort.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Our 12-week programme is a highly-tailored programme designed to generate sustainable growth for early-stage companies transforming the built world.

We take a unique approach into understanding our founders and their teams, and every year, we create a programme that is suited to each Cohort’s unique needs and stage. This allows us to provide participating founders with not only capital investment, but the strategic support they need to propel their business forward.

Throughout the programme, we facilitate direct introductions to prospective customers and potential investors; culminating in our annual Demo Day, where each company will pitch their solutions to our ecosystem of founders, co-investors and partners.

why APPLY?

Choosing a programme can be confusing, and we always encourage founders to determine what would be most helpful to you at the stage of your company journey.  In terms of what our programme can offer you, there are three key pillars.

STRATEGIC SUPPORT

This is an overarching goal of the programme. We start the strategic support by hand-picking the most relevant mentors for each of our teams, based on their industry, stage and needs and have weekly workshops that are tailored to the needs of the cohort and made as relevant as possible.

ACCESS TO CUSTOMERS

This takes place half-way through the programme and is one of the most crucial aspects. Based on an initial target list from each company, we look within our own ecosystems and those of our partners, and start individually introducing each team to relevant customers.

ACCESS TO INVESTORS

Similar to the customer exercise, this is a completely individual engagement, where we match the best investors. Even if you wouldn’t be looking to fundraise on the back of the programme, we would still look to introduce you to relevant investors that could come in your next round.
