Faisal is the Managing Partner and Founder of Pi Labs, a London-based venture capital firm backing companies that are transforming our relationship with the built world and its impact on communities, business, and the environment.

He founded Pi Labs in 2014 after a multidisciplinary career in technology consulting, real estate private equity, and building tech start-ups. Today, Pi Labs has invested in 80+ companies across three funds in 17+ countries—all with the potential to impact the future of cities globally, transforming how we live, work, build, and more.

Faisal completed his Bachelor’s degree at UCLA in 1999 in Business Economics and Computer Science and earned an MBA with Distinction from the University of Oxford in 2009.

In 2022, Pi Labs raised a $90 million fund, securing capital from global blue-chip institutional investors to target companies with innovative technology addressing sustainability, the future of work, AI, the metaverse, construction, and smart cities.

Since 2015, Pi Labs has delivered 12 Growth Programmes, an award-winning accelerator that has taken 60 pre-seed or seed startups through an intensive programme, introducing them to strategically targeted investors to fuel their growth into new markets, expand their teams, and undertake further product development.

Faisal is also the founder of Spire Ventures, a personal investment vehicle with a focus on investing in traditional property services companies, including residential property specialist POD Management, real estate executive search firm Beaumont Bailey, and 90 North, a real estate investment manager which has managed $2bn of real estate assets across Europe and the USA.
